December~

Well it's been over a month- but it feels like forever ago since I was last here...

Feels like I am in the never ending cycle or wake up, run out of the house, drive, work, drive, cook, sit, cuddle for a bit and then sleep again.. it's like wash rinse repeat :( but sooner or later it will stop and then I will wonder what the hell to do...
Jake turns 6 month's old tomorrow and in 3 days Jackson is 2!

It is amazing... I am reminded almost every day how fast they are growing when a new baby comes in to the clinic and I see how tiny they are.. but cool to watch them grow!

We are slowly getting ready for the holidays... we actually got a tree this year-- last year it really didn't feel like christmas here.. I think it will be our last real one for awhile-- it smells yummy-- but I can't tell ya how many times we forget to water the dang things-- and then to spend $50 on a freaking tree is a bit much-- so we will be partaking in the artifical christmas tree sales after the holidays :)
We again are going to stick to the list/plan like we did last year while we were in the savings challenge... planning on a mall day on Friday-- family/boy pictures, santa and shopping- oh and to round out the day we will end the day at the doctors for there check ups.

As far as milestones go-- Jake is starting to sit on his own for a bit, we are eating cereal and jar foods; 2 bottom teeth are just coming in; our first urgent care visit a few weeks ago for an ear infection-- just an all around happy content lil man!!
Jackson-- he is a talking machine!! we are still having some melt downs-- unsure if it is related to being almost 2, the fact that he has 3 molars coming in or he is sick too (didn't take him in when we did Jake)
he is getting so big! he is such a big help-- well he tries to be and wants to!

November...

Wow I can't believe it is November already! Seriously where is the time going??!?!
I have almost a 2 year old-- what the hell.. when did I get so old?!
October was busy... it is birthday month around these parts... Nick and I actually had a mini vaca without the boys.. headed off to Colorado for a wedding-- it was BEAUTIFUL!! My cousin Ashlie got married.. saw some of the family that I haven't seen in awhile.. it was great but COLD!! Went up to the mountains.. saw some amazing sites and was nice to get away for a bit...
Things have been moving right along... Jacob is rolling over, drooling like mad! He and Jackson are actually sharing a room now! It is still kinda flabbergasting that I have 2 little boys!
Jackson is a little parrot.. repeats pretty much everything we say.. really starting to talk more on his own... granted half of what he says we still have no idea what it is!

We have continued with house renovations... finished the fence and gate!! amazing! can let the dogs out and not have to worry! LOVE it!!

Halloween was fun this year.. Jackson had fun trick or treating-- got into running to the houses and grabbing candy. Poor Jake.. he just sat in the stroller :)

much too long...

Well a lot has changed since I last posted Nov 2 2010! Jackson is now almost 20 months old and Jacob is almost 2 months old!
It just goes to show you that when the 2nd one comes he gets a little left behind.. No pregnancy posts here, no birth story, no pictures.... granted I wasn't on Facebook a year ago either... that is where 99.9% of everything I have to say is said, all the pictures I take and post...
But I still check in on my blog list and try and keep up with what is going on... I would love to comment more but half the time it won't take my comments!!

Tonight I sit here listening to the Brewer game and the breastpump pumping as it clears out the condensation in the tubing... watching Jacob swing in the swing and know that Jackson is tucked into bed for the night... Nick is gone on the annual guy boat trip.... so it's just me and the lil ones..

As I sit back and "look" at where I am-- I still can't believe that I am a mom-- none the less of 2 boys!  I feel like life is just whizzing by! Nick and I have been married for 4 years now... sometimes feels a lot longer! I never realized how fast the days go until the boys came along and I watch how much they change... It makes me sad and happy all at the same time...
We definitly learned from Jackson to enjoy the newborn/infant stage of Jacob a lot more!

Speaking of him-- he is great-- he is such a mellow little guy-- he looks just like Jackson-- just darker skinned and hair :) He has been doing a good solid chunk of sleep during the night so that is helpful!
I am already back at work-- only took 7 weeks off :( That is a bummer- it was nice to get back though-- a lot of changes happened while I was gone... and also nice to get into a routine too... Nick has been a big help especially in the am now that we have 2 to get ready-- well actually 4 of us to get ready and out the door!

I keep telling myself that I need to go to bed earlier... as I sit here it is almost 10 pm.. still have a few clean up things to do before I can get there... at least I don't have to get up and go to work in the am.. should get a few extra hours.. fingers crossed that Jackson sleeps past 7am!!
