10!

Um just a tad late.. 10 months~what a difference a month makes!!
He is WALKING!!! This past weekend he walked and walked and walked! He will pull himself up on something and then away he goes! He still gets tripped up on his own feet.. or all the random toys that are in his way.
He still has 7 teeth- working on getting 2 more on the bottom- 1 each on each side. He still loves eating and will have 2 dinners a night- will eat at day care and then of course we eat when we get home and he thinks it is a travisity if he doesn't have food too! He is officially of the bottle- I don't even know when we stopped that- he would just shake it around and get his face full of milk- so we just gave it up. He is working eating with a spoon now too... He did this last week for me. Apparently I was not doing it right!
We had his first Halloween- he got to dress up for daycare on Friday for there lil party and then Sunday he helped hand out candy and then we got to dress up for the Berner's Annunal Halloween Bash- it was a little chilly but he stayed nice and toasty in his cow costume!

Things are still going well with the savings challenge! There are now 5 families instead of 6-- so our odds increased!! Nick sold his truck last month.. nothing too exciting this month. Get to go to Bootcamp on Saturday so that should be fun!!

Well I have been debating how I wanted to post this or when...

There is currently a Kidney bean growing inside my uterus. yup... #2 will join the family in June-- a lot sooner than we anticipated!! We were quite surprised.. and to be honest I am still in SHOCK... feeling ok.. waves of nausea and TIRED! but so far so good... We went 2.5 weeks ago for an ultrasound and there was a tiny lil thing.. we saw a slight flicker and after a few tries were able to get a HR. which of course is awesome... now we wait... so things have been a little bit crazy with all this... and of course the savings challenge-- luckily we are in a much better place this time around than we were with Jackson!!

number nine

nine nine nine number nine... as I sit here and type this out.. it is officially 9 months since I became a mom... that is still kinda weird to say! I am someones M.O.M!
Jackson has been quite busy these 4 weeks!!
He is a crawling maniac-- he does a one knee crawl with a leg push-- apparently he goes faster that way than on bith knees! He is pulling himself up on anything he can.. he is a little bit of a dare devil.. he will just let go or try and and stretch as long as he can between furniture items!
he just poked 2 more top teeth through today!!!
We went to the doctor on Thursday for his 9 month check up-- Dr Serb was quite happy to see us :) He is great! he was crawling all over the room- trying to pull open the drawers and cabinets! There is a full length mirror behind the door- he crawled right over to it and was trying to make out with himself!
he is 21# 8oz and 29 inches long! I swore he would be heavier than that!! He is a lug to carry around!!
Just got his new car seat too! Couldn't pass up the deal at Target-- we got to use it all of 2 times before my window motor broke and the Jeep as been held up in the garage... :(

Well what else is going on around us...
Dogs and cats are still battling fleas... :( will have to treat them again...
I have been taking a zumba class- super fun!
We are slowly working on the savings challenge.. waiting patiently to talk with our coaches again.. still don't have our goal #'s yet!!

visiting last weekend...

Candy and Stan are down this weekend... it has been sadley a year since Brad left the earth... It will be a busy and sad weekend...

Month number 8

Seriously where is the time going..My lil baby is turning into a lil boy soooo fast! He is so long!! We go to the doctor next week so we get all the official numbers -- his infant carrier is getting SO heavy!! He definitly won't be in it for long! We really need to get his next car seat really soon!

So what has he been up to-- he is a crawling machine!! He is pulling himself up on EVERYTHING! He can get himself up and get himself down :) He is still eating like a champ- haven't found anything yet that he doesn't like! He loves playing with his friends at daycare!

We have been enjoying the summer greatly! We have been out on the boat a bit- it has enough room for him to crawl around- which is nice! He loves splashing around in lake with dad! We went today to the Whitewater aquatic Center so J and I got some swimming in ourselves-- he LOVES the water!!! He is a kicking and splashing machine!! I will be looking into some early swim lessons for us to do :)

We went to a family wedding out on a dairy farm last week-- this is J by the HUGE tractor!!

He is working on getting tooth #3.. it is his top right tooth- there is a little white bump and of course he is drooling and chewing on everything! He has been a little hard to put down at night and staying down has been a problem.. hopefully it will be short lived!!!

Month #7

Like always... I am still in amazement!! I can't believe it... I have been thinking a lot about his "birth"day the last few days.. really makes me want to do it all again :) but we are soooo not ready!

So what has Mr J been up to these past 4 week (well 5 now!)
He got his bottom 2 teeth about 2 weeks ago-- both at the same time- had a few fussy days then BAM there they were- man are those things SHARP!!
He is soo talkative and loves to giggle!
He is getting soo much better at rolling over-- BOTH ways! He still hates to be on his tummy for a long period of time. He is starting to get his legs under him and he does the cute lil butt shake- it won't be long now!!
He is eating like a champ-- shocker!! We just started doing 3 meals- and now that he has those chompers and can handle lil snacks he gets a few. He of course wants whatever is on our plates as well.

He went to the zoo a few weeks ago.. it was a beautiful day- my father got us tickets- there was a Veteran's Appreciation function thingy of some sorts.. we actually met up with a brother and all the kids :) J had a great time- he meet a dinosaur!

We had our annual 'family vacation" this past week to Eagle River- my mom, 1 brother, his fiance, her 18 mth old,1 niece, 1 nephew, 1 husband, 1 mr J and myself in a 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin... it was a little tight but we managed- we took the boat up and we didn't have to get towed this year! yaaahooooo! but still had some issues with it.. went fishing, swimming, kayaking, I got to read 2 whole big girl books!! Went go-karting, shopped around Eagle River, fished and ate!! :) J played in the sand for the first time and loved it... he didn't like the taste of it- go figure! He also loved splashing in the water!! I really want to get him in some swimming lessons-- or at least get into a pool with him! (I realllly don't like lake water!)
The week went really fast! Back to work today.. it didn't take long to get back into the swing of things!

6 Months!

Well another 30 days has gone by... :( My little man is 1/2 year old!
He is 18#'s even and 27 inches! He is growing and growing!!
What has he been up to....
He LOVES to eat (shocker!) He is doing better with his sippy cup.. but gets too excited and just turns into baby bird!

He is rolling a lot more!! from back to belly... he hasn't gotten the belly to back.. he hasn't done it during the night again-just while playing on the floor :)
He is sitting by himself! He will do it for a while until he loses his balance and then goes sideways ;)
He still loves his swing!! He gets the biggest grin!
He is still sleeping through the night!! phew!
We are in the midst of battling cold #2 :( just has a bunch of chest gunk... coughs every now and then.. no fevers and doesn't seem to bother him..
I just started using his reflux med again.. we should see if that does anything this time around... It seemed to help a little this weekend.. but who knows.
He is getting good at grabbing things and hanging on and shaking them.
Oh a not so good thing... he is a pincher!!! he will grab the back of your tricep.. or pull your chest or arm hair! the lil shit!

We had a pretty good Father's day! We hung out in the morning and made breakfast... Daddy got a picture collage of him and lil man from birth to present, and an octopus carwash certificate and an anti gravity lawn chair (for his birthday too ;)
We went out on the boat with my dad and his lady friend.. we were having a good time out on Pewaukee lake until... the motor died again :( finger's crossed that the boys can figure it out and it won't take too much!
What else.. we had lil mr's baptism 6/13- it was a nice service.. he was such a good boy! We all gathered back at the house and had a nice little brunch.

He is loving bath time now!!

Well a severe storm decided to inerupt my posting.. we camped out in the "basement" for about 15 min...poor thing the siren woke him up again. but we are back up and safe... it's back to pouring out now.. but all the tornado's have moved on! phew!

5 months!

Like the last 4 postings..I can't believe it....He is ginormous ( sad with love of course!) and continues to grow each day..learns new things I swear over night! The house is now littered with baby toys.. you really can't go a few feet without stepping on a rattle or teether!

So what has happend the last 30 plus days.... He continues to eat very well.. He has a bowl of ceral and either a fruit or veggie during the day-- he has had sweet potatoes, peas, green beans, bananas, pears, and I know I am forgetting something.. he loves it all!

 He is rolling half way.. he can't quite get the bottom shoulder tucked yet.. but has no prob swinging those legs around! He loves kicking his feet and pushing off of things... I have found him turned almost completly turned around! He is a jabberer.. he loves to screach still and that tongue is usually sticking out ;) He is really mastering the 2 hand grab for toys-- or whatever you maybe holding! And of course everything he grabs goes right in the mouth! He can hold his bottle himself-- with a little help to get started or when he gets crazy and starts hitting it and it falls!

 He has officially found his thumb! Which comes in handy in the middle of the night :)

We have been going to church every Sunday.. he LOVES it... especially when we sing... I think he found a new girlfriend (sorry Olivia!). This family was sitting behind us a few weeks ago with there 4 month old lil girl.. and he thought they were the cooooolest thing!! Big smiles and talks to them.. We have seen her a few times now.. it is cute when they just lock eyes... I wonder what they are telling each other??
He LOVES swinging.. we got an outdoor swing.. will be getting it up outside today-- but we have been to the park a few times now and of course it is the only thing he can play on right now ;) We even use his Johnny jump up as a swing inside ;)

He is still working on those eye teeth.. nothing popping through yet.. but you can see the tooth form and feel a little bump on his gums... soon soon.
We had a great Mother's day- went to church, went to Nick's parents for brunch.. and then a relaxing night at home before I started the new job...

Which is going really well.. the clinic staff is sooo sweet and nice- I have never had a welcome like that before! As the weeks/days go on I am feeling more comfortable.. Not that I have never done this stuff before (talking to parents and giving shots...) but that is alll I do now- Just so everyone knows.. We REALLY don't like giving your kids shots... and we aren't the mean nurse.. we are doing our job and protecting your child and others .. ok off the soap box... that is probably the hardest part... We really don't like making kids cry :(
It has been a big adjustment getting up EVERYDAY and driving everyday... and only seeing lil man for a few hours... We cuddle for a bit in the morning... so far there has been 1 day when he woke up on his own.. otherwise I let him sleep as long as I can.. it definitly helps me get myself ready in the morning! And then either Nick or I pick him up from daycare...and we have a few hours before bedtime.. which of course is a busy time with dinners and baths.. and Bible study thrown in once a week! But we are surviving..
He has adjusted well to the new day care lady.. gives her big smiles every morning when he gets dropped off there :)

The weather is finally staying nice for a bit now.. will get out and take some walks and play outside.. we are going camping Memorial weekend (now that I don't have to work holidays or weekends-- score) and yes we will be trying it out with a 5 month old.. but we are going with friends and there family and the site is only the next town over-- so not too far from home ;) It will be a practice run for July when we go to Eagle river with the family! Can't wait!! Vacation!!!

Well must get out and enjoy this sunshine :)

4 months!

What a month it has been! Lots of changes!
Lil Mr is officially 16#'s 5.5 oz and 26 inches long!! He is getting so big!! He is a babbling machine! He hasn't gotten the rolling down- he gets his legs up and then kinds rolly pollys to the side! He doesn't consistantly sleep through the night.. he still gives us a night or 2 with just 1 wake up but last night it was every 2 hours! Makes for a tired momma!! Other things lil mr likes to do it grab for things now... gone are the days of eating with him on your lap-- he is grabbing for the plate! or when you are on the phone he tries to grab that too!! He tries to put nearly everything into his mouth! most of it makes it :)

 He has adjusted to "daycare" and will have to get used to it because momma got a new 8-5 job full time at a Peds clinic-- I start May 10th- which is fast approaching!! No holidays or weekends!!! It is still in Madison so I still have to drive an hour each way... but it is a definite needed change!

Momma has gotten some retail therapy in.. using gift cards and cashing in my "points" from the bank card-- I have dropped 2 sizes! it is crazy!

hmmm what else.. that's about it...

3 month's ~ Happy St Patrick's Day!

Seriously... 3 months??!! Today 3 month's ago I was sitting waiting so patiently for him to arrive! And now I stare at my big 3 month old sleeping sooo peacefully! We are all still slowly adjusting to this new routine... sleeping has gotten better... down by 9-10pm up at 0300 and then depending on what day it is.. he is up by 530 to get outta the house.. or he sleeps at least till 6-630 on non work days.. and then we can usually fall back to sleep till at least 0800!
I am surviving.. as well as I can.. the brain is still complete mush.. can't really concentrate on a whole lot! Work has been pretty challenging... I swear one piece of info goes in and 3 pieces go out!! I so want to be home when I am there... I NEVER thought that would be the case! I can't wait to get home and see him and cuddle and talk! and man does he talk now!! It isn't so cute in the middle of the night or when he is supposed to be sleeping...
He is getting big sooo fast! I forgot to get on the scale with him today.. but we go to the pediatrician next month for his 4 month check-up.. and more shots :( Right now he is wearing a 6 month outfit!! crazy crazy! He is still spitting up a bunch.. but the vomiting seems to have stopped-- he is a drooly gus though-- my goodness! He is soaked after a few hours!!!

Well before he get's up.. I need to eat lunch, shower and get ready for a lovely night of work.... and of course here comes the pictures :)

random days and returning to work...

I was told by our friend Mike that I needed to update.. so here it is :) He almost sat on my baby!! Poor thing... was napping on the couch next to me and he came over to check the blog.. moved the blankie and almost sat down on him... Now I know why babies aren't supposed to sleep on the couch!

It seems to finally be "spring" time in Wisconsin! I had the weekend off.. so we took advantage of both of us being home so we took the beasts and the kiddo out for a walk on Saturday.

What else have we been up to the last few weeks...
Sarah's birthday was at the end of February... Jax got to see his girlfriend.. and they shared a few intimate moments!

We went to breakfast this morning with my mom, brother, his girlfriend Renee and her lil man Jayden... Jayden reallly wanted to poke him in the eye :)

I also started back to work the begining of March... It hasn't been tooo bad.. Daddy gets to drop him off in the morning so they are still home when I leave so it doesn't seem like he is at the babysitters... He is adjusting-- it seems we have 2 good sleep nights in a row and then 1 not so good one.. but we are surviving... I can't believe he will be 3 months old in a few weeks!!!! :)

2 MONTHS!

4 more weeks under our belt! I didn't think he could get any cuter but he did!!

What has he been up to these last 4 weeks...

He is laughing and cooing-- he loves to say aggahh :) He loves to smile at momma :)

He found his hands! Love hearing that slobbering sound :)

He still loves a good cuddle and loves to snuggle with a blankie or a burp cloth!

He will now sit in his chair for about 10 -15 min and talk to the owls :)

He will give us a few good hours of sleep at night... when he feels like it ;) Just when I think we might have a routine... he goes and changes it on me!!!

We have had a few days out at the babysitters-- we have 2 friends that will be watching him- he spent some time there while momma took a run to work for a test and then another day when momma got some much needed pampering! Of course the first time was harder on momma than him!

The days at home full time are slowly dwindling... I am ready but soo not ready to go back at the same time... I wish I didn't have to go back full time.. but he is too young to get a job ;) Hopefully I won't have to work full time forever.. we are working on debt- just like millions of people out there.. so momma's shopping habits have gotten an overhaul!!

We really haven't been up to too much... He has been going to the chiropracter with me.. seems to have helped with his screaming fits at night-- he is warming up more to daddy too which is nice!! He is still puking but he is happy and gaining weight and growing! We went to the doc for his 2 month check up- he weighed in at a whopping 14#1oz!!!! No wonder he was getting so heavy in his carrier it's a combined 24#'s!!! He of course had his shots.. and of course momma cried along with him :( But then a little retail therapy always eases the tears :) We went and got a few new cloth diapers-- yes I am a brave soul trying this out! It has been going well.. I just have to really convince Nick that no the diapers aren't washed in the toliet!!! He looks so cute in them!! We aren't 100% yet we need quite a few more to do that.. but I try and do it as much as I can when we are home :) We also went out to Mayfair-- it was Grandpa Bellacera's birthday so we met him and a few of his friends at Applebee's-- lil J slept right through! We then met Nana Noeske at the mall so she could get a little baby fix in and did a lil shopping... I swear he will be the best dressed baby on the block! Thank you Nana!! :)
